The DFA Award is open to any design in the world that has been commercially launched in one or more Asian markets between 1 January 2006 and 31 July 2008.

DFA Award does not accept design entries which have not yet been realised in the market.

The DFA Award welcomes entries from:
- Design owners, design clients, or brand owners
- Designers, or design consultancies


Fees:

Entry fee	HK$800 per entry
Exhibition & Catalogue Fee	HK$800 per winning entry(for members of HKDC's founding associations1)
	HK$1,600 per winning entry (others)

There is no limit on the number of entries that each entrant can submit.

Finalist(s) chosen for the Grand Award Judging are required to submit additional information such as but not limited to high resolution images.
